Oil-linked LNG market share decreasing

GLOBALLY LNG  is slowly becoming de-linked from oil prices with 48.4% of all gas in the market sold via gas-on-gas contracts rather than what the International Gas Union calls oil price escalation or what we understand in Australia as an oil-linked LNG contract.

Oil-linked LNG market share dropping

The report finds gas-on-gas pricing rose by 1% over 2019 at the expense of OPE, which fell to 18.5% of all gas sold globally.
