Japan considers axing its Russian LNG imports

THE ongoing war in Ukraine is still being felt a world away in Japan. Tokyo said  Friday that in light of rising civilian deaths in Ukraine it had asked power companies to have at least three weeks of gas reserves on hand as it mulls cutting Russian LNG imports.
