Santos reports record sales revenue, drops capex 

SANTOS has reported a sales revenue for the year to date rising 86% over the same time a year ago as oil and gas prices rise and the company realises more value from its merger with Oil Search. Revenue was US$5.9 billion for the nine months to September 30, and free cash flow hit a record $2.7 billion.

This is a rise of 194%. Quarterly free cash flow was $1 billion, which reduced its gearing to 20.8%. Its merger with Oil Search completed mid-December, and so far the company has realised  $112 million...
