Hype and the pipe: is the Power of Siberia really a threat to LNG?

THE new Power of Siberia gas pipeline from Russia to China which came online last week and is expected to transport 38 billion cubic metres of gas per year in five years doesn’t pose a threat to LNG, thanks to the higher tariff prices at its end point and low LNG spot prices.
