NEW ZEALAND’s largest oil refinery will slow its production output by 50% over the coming three months, and maybe longer, due to low fuel demand.

The Marsden Point refinery located at Whangarei Harbour has a crude oil capacity of 135,000 barrels per day, however the operator of the facility said it would cut output by half until
