Retention lease overhaul slammed

GAS users have slammed the federal government's proposal to dramatically broaden its one-size-fits all use-it-or-lose-it retention lease system, claiming it surrenders greater power to the biggest oil and gas producers, who get exactly what they want at the expense of the national interest.
