APPEA slams report calling for domgas reservation 

INDUSTRY body the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association has slammed the findings of the Australia Workers Union-commissioned report from the McKell Institute which has found Australian households could be paying as much as $430 more for electricity by the end of next year unless wholesale gas prices are brought under control.

The report calls for a west coast-style domgas reservation policy to ensure that the ascendant largest-LNG-exporter-in-the-world does not go short for the commodity at home.
