IN ORDER to solve fuel security issues Australia is looking further afield, to the Netherlands, for fuel storage and supply in a new treatment with the small European kingdom.

Australia's strategic petroleum reserves remain far lower than required at between 50-52 days, and in May energy minister Josh Frydenberg announced a comprehensive review of fuel stocks.
