Paris riots over fuel tax increase

FRENCH president Emmanuel Macron has a fight on his hands as thousands of masked rioters took to the streets of the capital city, burning cars and smashing windows in what has been the largest riot in the country for more than a decade, all a result of high fuel prices combined with recent fuel tax hikes and general living affordability.
