Qatar pulls out of OPEC to realise gas dreams

AFTER nearly 60 years, Qatar will leave the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries from January 1 next year, in a move that the government says will help the country realise its dreams of becoming the world's largest LNG exporter.
