Timor-Leste parliament approves border treaty

THE parliament of Timor-Leste has ratified the maritime boundary treaty with Australia, first signed by then-foreign minister Julie Bishop and her counterpart Agio Pereira early last year, with the vote being 42 in favour and 23 against.
