Queensland demands federal cash for gas development

QUEENSLAND energy minister Anthony Lynham has declared that the state government will not support the federal government's emissions reduction fund unless it receives Commonwealth funding to develop onshore oil and gas reserves within the state.

Lynham is in Perth for the Council of Australian Governments energy meeting and is pressing federal energy minister Angus Taylor for financial assistance to develop infrastructure for the oil and gas sector....
