Canavan sees GAB drilling central to submarine fuel security

FEDERAL resources minister Matt Canavan is an avowed supporter of Equinor’s plan to drill an exploration well in the Great Australian Bight and has several times suggested it will improve the nation’s liquid fuel security, but went off reservation yesterday suggesting it would aid Australia’s submarine build plans.
