NSW told by Canberra to hit the gas

The federal Coalition and New South Wales governments have come to a A$2 billion agreement to increase gas and electricity supplies in the state via encouraging investment – and a central tenet of this deal will be for the state to encourage investment to increase gas supply to 70 petajoules a year.
