Cut red tape for oil and gas sector to counter recession: Pitt

AUSTRALIA'S oil and gas onshore and offshore sector contributed about A$5 billion in taxes, royalties and other fees in 2016 - 2017, but more needs to be done to cut red tape and support the sector according to a draft report by the Productivity Commission.
