Kiwi petroleum lobby welcomes tougher ETS

THE Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand has welcomed the new, tougher emission trading scheme that could cut 10 million tonnes of CO2 and CO2-equivalent per year, but warns the changes must be “carefully implemented to avoid unnecessary economic damage”.
