AUSTRALIA’S peak body for renewable energy, the Clean Energy Council, is calling for the federal government to appoint a hydrogen coordinator-general to drive the delivery of the nations’ hydrogen strategy and called for further support of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency.
The Council released its pre-Budget submission today, estimating the hydrogen sector could add up to A$26 billion a year in additional GDP and 16,900 jobs by 2050.
