US deep freeze wreaks havoc on oil and gas production

THE bitter cold gripping the US has created what is being described as a once-in-a generation energy crisis as around 3 million barrels of oil per day is knocked out of production and millions are left without power particularly in Texas, where some have been left in the dark for days.
