Misalignment on both sides of gas debate

BOTH Australia's ruling Coalition and Labor are split on gas development in the country with centrists of both parties preferring not to invest in new gas plant developments in the case of Labor, or exploration permits offshore from their own beachside electorates in the case of the Liberals.
