Total, Chevron suspend dividend payments to Myanmar military 

TOTAL and Chevron have voted to suspend dividend payments to the shareholders of the Moattama Gas Transportation Company after a May 12 meeting thanks to what operator of the Yadana Project Total calls the  "unstable context in Myanmar".

The decision is backdated to April 1 meaning all cash distributions to Total (31.24%), Chevron (28.26%), PTTEP (25.5%) and MOGE (15%) are suspended. MOGE is the local oil company, owned by the military...
