Cost of government levy on decom made public

LATE last week the federal government released a discussion paper for its proposed levy on the offshore oil and gas industry to pay for the decommissioning of the Laminaria-Corallina fields and associated infrastructure and finally put a price on producers of 48c per barrel of oil equivalent.
