Gas reserves fall off in New Zealand

NEW Zealand has just recorded the lowest gas production in 10 years even as renewable energy uptake soars. The country, which has oil and gas fields offshore and in the onshore Taranaki Basin, produced only 24 petajoules of gas in 2021 and 2P reserves dropped by 5.2%.
