Labor wants gas gone: Dutton

FEDERAL oppostion leader Peter Dutton has blasted the government for “using chains and whips” to control the oil and gas sector by imposing regulations and tax mechanisms during a plenary session in the 2023 APPEA Conference today.

He has pointed out that the government's proposed changes to the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act will kill many projects, making future environmental approvals harder to obtain....
