In addition to announcing some drilling activity on its onshore Victorian acreage it also came out of the blue and snaffled up Liberty Petroleum's permits in the offshore Browse Basin, next door to the massive Scott Reef and Brecknock gas discoveries.

Truly elephant country and with a very good address, that news sent punters pushing the stock from 25c at the start of October to tip 50c this week before easing back. Afminex continues to have speculators...
