THE 2005 Federal Government Budget gives Australia's offshore oil and gas industry an extra $200 million in funding, primarily in the form of anti-terrorism measures. Future LNG projects, companies paying Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT) and foreign executives employed in Australia will also benefit from the Budget.
