ITS been a hectic week for the Chinguetti partners. Woodside, Roc and Hardman all had good news to report, but they also had to deal with rumours that they had been implicated in corruption involving petroleum companies in Mauritania.

Woodside began the week by highlighting plans to generate up to half its revenue overseas by finding and developing new US and African oil and gas reserves.
