ALINTA: Babcock & Brown became a substantial shareholder on September 8 with a voting power of 5.61%.

ANZON AUSTRALA: Andrew Young acquired 23,217 ordinary shares at $1.29 per share in on market trade on September 12. He now holds, directly, a total of 3,000,000 options. Indirectly he now holds a total of 127,568 ordinary shares.

AUSTRALIAN BIODIESEL GROUP: In on market trades, Dr Len Humphreys acquired 2,000 acquired at $0.745 and 8,000 shares at $0.74 and disposed of 5,000 shares at $0.77. He now holds a total of 17,234,740 shares.

AUSTRALIAN GAS LIGHT: Paul Anthony acquired 307,230 ordinary shares at $19.53 on September 1 pursuant to the share purchase plan. He now holds a total of 309,230 ordinary shares, held directly.

AUSTRALIAN WORLDWIDE EXPLORATION: New Zealand Overseas Petroleum ceased to be a substantial shareholder on September 8. AMP and related bodies corporate became a substantial shareholder on September 8 with a voting power of 6.4%. UBS Nominees became a substantial shareholder on September 11 with a voting power of 5.4%.

BEACH PETROLEUM: On September 1, Michael Frost acquired 13,055 Fully Paid Ordinary Shares via the exercise of 13,055 bonus options expiring September 30, 2006. He now holds a total of 143,603 fully paid ordinary shares, held directly.

BHP BILLITON: KJ Wood acquired 62,903 ordinary fully paid shares at nil cost on September 5 following the exercise of performance shares and deferred shares under the group incentive scheme. She now holds, directly, a total of 74,656 shares. In addition Wood has a total of 249,486 securities over which options and other rights are held.

CARNARVON PETROLEUM: Edward Jacobson, Peter Leonhardt and Neil Fearis each acquired ordinary shares at 5 cents each on September 7 under the terms of a share purchase plan. Jacobson acquired 68,493 ordinary shares and a further 68,493 ordinary shares taking his total holding, directly held, of 11,817,903 ordinary shares. Indirectly he now holds a total of 1,608,390 ordinary shares, 4,000,000 7 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2008 and 4,000,000 10 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2009. Peter Leonhardt acquired 68,493 shares taking his total direct holding to 7,768,493 ordinary shares, Indirectly he now holds 3 million 7 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2008; 3,000,000 10 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2009. Fearis acquired two lots of 68,493 ordinary shares taking his total holding, directly held to 339,893 ordinary shares. Indirectly he now holds 5,668,493 ordinary shares, 2,000,000 7 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2008 and 2,000,000 10 cent unlisted options expiring March 31, 2009.

CARPATHIAN RESOURCES: Eddie Smith acquired 500,000 fully paid ordinary shares at 6.5 cents per share in on market trades on September 11-13, taking his total holding, held indirectly, to 18,243,175 fully paid ordinary shares and 5 secured convertible notes – unlisted ($100,000 per note).

CLOUGH: Ross Kelly acquired 50,000 shares for $22,968.99 in on market trades on September, taking his total holding to 150,000 shares, held indirectly. Andrew Walsh acquired 268,000 shares for $121,196.98 in on market trades between September 4- 8. He now has a total, directly held, of 268,000 shares and 3,000,000 unlisted options.

COOPER ENERGY: Robert Kirtland, who retired as a director on September 8, retains an indirect interest in 1,330,000 ordinary shares and 2,000,000 unlisted options expiring December 31, 2007. Stephen Abbot, who was appointed as a director on September 8, holds an indirect interest in 200,000 fully paid ordinary shares. RAB Energy Fund Ltd became a substantial shareholder on June 26 with a voting power of 5.04%.

DRILLSEARCH ENERGY: Daryl Dixon and Katherine Dixon (Substantial Holders) increased their substantial holding to 15.16% on September 4.

GASNET AUSTRALIA: Australian Pipeline increased its substantial shareholding to 19.95% on September 14.

JUPITER ENERGY: Eddie Smith acquired 500,000 fully paid ordinary shares at 20.5 cents per share in on market trades between September 8-12. He now holds, indirectly, 8,592,409 fully paid ordinary shares and 466,666 listed options – 20c expire 31 October 2006.

KAROON GAS: Stephen Power acquired 5000 via the exercise of options on July 5. He now hasc15,000 shares, held indirectly.

ROC OIL: Richard Burgess disposed of 141,220 shares (58,631 shares at $3.72 per share. 77,889 shares at $3.73 per share and 4,700 shares at $3.74 per share) for a total consideration of $526,211.29 in on market trade on September 6. He now holds 340,400 shares indirectly.

ROMA PETROLEUM: Kenneth Skirka acquired 100,000 ordinary shares at 5 cents each on August 31, pursuant to the share purchase plan and previously notified as a direct interest, now indirect interest via Superannuation Fund. He now holds, indirectly 1,233,334 ordinary shares. Charles Siller acquired 100,000 ordinary shares at 5 cents each on August 31 pursuant to the share purchase plan, he now holds 8,727,917 ordinary shares, held indirectly.

SAMSON OIL AND GAS: Persistency increased its substantial shareholding to 12.0% on August 23.

WESFARMERS: David Robb, who ceased to be a director on September 8, retains a direct interest in 112,026 ordinary shares and an indirect interest in 22,308 units, and 10,316 ordinary shares.
