THE AUSTRALIAN GAS LIGHT COMPANY / AGL ENERGY LIMITED: On October 6, the Australian Gas Light Company (AGL) shareholders approved the merger of AGL's infrastructure assets with Alinta Limited and the subsequent separation of AGL Energy. AGL ceased trading on October 11, 2006 and began trading as AGL Energy on October 12.

Sir Ronald Brierley, who ceased to be an AGL director on October 9, holds a direct interest in 77,770 ordinary shares. David Craig, who ceased to be a on October 9, holds a direct interest in 3645 ordinary shares.

David Allen, Carolyn Hewson, Mark Johnson, Maxwell Ould, Graham Reaney, Jeremy Maycock and Sandra Mcphee who were appointed as a directors of AGL Energy between October 5-9, were each issued with an entitlement to ordinary shares under the scheme of arrangement which became effective on October 11. The holdings of the directors are now as follows: David Allen holds, directly, an entitlement to 72,881 ordinary shares and indirectly he holds an entitlement to 4320 ordinary shares; Carolyn Hewson holds directly, an entitlement to 52,899 ordinary shares; Mark Johnson holds a direct interest in 204,003 ordinary shares; Maxwell Ould holds a direct interest in 14,365 ordinary shares; Graham Reaney holds a direct interest in 91,839 ordinary shares and an indirect interest in 20,000 ordinary; Jeremy Maycock holds a direct interest in to 4100 ordinary shares; Sandra Mcphee holds a direct interest in 1200 ordinary shares; and Paul Anthony, who was appointed as a director on May 1, holds directly, an entitlement to 309,230 ordinary shares pursuant to the scheme of arrangement.

ANTARES ENERGY: William Hassell acquired 15,000 shares at $0.43 per share in on market purchase on October 9. He now holds, indirectly, a total of 190,000 ordinary fully paid shares and 15,000 convertible notes.

BASS STRAIT OIL COMPANY: Ernest Albers changed his substantial shareholding to 19.01% on October 16.

CLOUGH: McRae Investments Pty Ltd, Glenmere Pty Ltd and William Harold Clough decreased their substantial shareholding to 20.8% on October 10.

EDEN ENERGY: Ganesha Nominees Pty Ltd became a substantial shareholder on October 13 with a voting power of 17.49%.

GASNET AUSTRALIA GROUP: Australian Pipeline Limited/APT Pipelines Limited (APA Group) increased their substantial shareholding to 74.18% on October 16 and on October 17, increased to 82.51%.

JUPITER ENERGY: Geoff Clifford acquired 40,000 fully paid ordinary shares via exercise of options at 8 cents, taking his total holding to 340,300 fully paid ordinary shares.

MOBY OIL & GAS: EG Albers acquired 50,000 ordinary shares for $4,022 in on market purchase on October 13, taking his total holding, held indirectly, to 15,169,673 ordinary shares, 5,970,725 June 30, 2008 options and 500,000 May 31, 2008 options. Albers is a substantial shareholder with a voting power of 23.86%.

PRYME OIL AND GAS: Philip Judge, who was appointed as a director on September 25, holds a direct interest in 4,514,163 fully paid ordinary shares and 413,850 20 cent options exercisable on or before June 30, 2008. Indirectly he now holds an interest in 4,514,163 fully paid ordinary shares and 413,850 20 cent options exercisable on or before June 30, 2008.

RIALTO ENERGY: Gregory Munyard acquired 23,777 ordinary fully paid shares for $6.895 in on market trade on October 12, taking his direct total holding to 850,000 ordinary fully paid shares and 850,417 options exercisable at $0.60 by June 30, 2011. Indirectly, he now holds a total of 7,000 ordinary fully paid shares and 3,500 options exercisable at $0.60 by June 30, 2011.
