THERE is still plenty of blood and red ink being spilt at stock exchanges around the world, but coal seam methane pioneer Queensland Gas Company has shown that big plans can cut through the panic to excite investors.

QGC’s announcement last Sunday that it had formed a CSM-to-LNG alliance with international gas giant BG (formerly British Gas) saw the company’s share price surge.
