Crude at six-month high

CRUDE oil futures continued to build on overnight gains in early Asian trading on Wednesday following favourable manufacturing data from the US and China, as well as the declining value of the US dollar which has made investments in commodities more attractive.

US benchmark crude for front-month delivery was trading at $US84.48 a barrel on Globex, up 58c from previous close.
