Montara puts disaster behind it with first oil

ALMOST four years after it made headlines as the site one of Australia's worst oil spills, the Montara field in the Timor Sea off Australia's north coast is producing oil.

Hydrocarbons were sent to the Montara Venture floating production, storage and offload vessel via the H2 well at the beginning of the month.
