Amity's Beyazkoy well flows oil on production test

Production testing on Amity Oil's Beyazkoy-1 well in western Turkey has flowed oil at 150 barrels per day in the interval 1222-1242m. Throughout the six-hour test the oil and water was accompanied by minor gas flows of 100,000 cubic feet per day.

The Thrace Joint Venture is considering forward options for operations but said further drilling of new wells up-dip of Beyazkoy-1 will be required. Beyazkoy-1 is on the same structural trend as the successful Gorcerler-1 and Gocerler-2 gas wells, which proves both oil and gas have migrated into this area, according to Amity Oil.

The participants in the well are Amity (operator) 50% and Turkish government-owned Turkiye Petrolleri Anomim Ortakligi 50%.
