Technip-Coflexip announces 2001 preliminary results

Paris-based engineering group Technip-Coflexip announced 2001 preliminary full year results with net income of $US96.2 million on sales of $US3.15 billion. Net income before exceptional items and goodwill amortization was $US156.7 million.

Technip said the preliminary financial results cannot be directly comparable to 2000 results because of the significant change in scope of consolidation that occurred following its takeover of Coflexip.
