Drillsearch bring on second Canadian well

Drillsearch Energy subsidiary, Circumpacific Energy Corporation, has began completion operations to bring online its second deep gas well in Alberta, Canada. Circumpacific has cased the well, TLM Rax 16-8-52-22 W5 as a gas producer from the Cardium Formation. Construction on a 2km pipeline that will tie in the well to the main gas delivery system is expected to be completed during April.

Circumpacific said it has now discovered commercial gas in three deep wells operated by Talisman Energy Inc. The company added that the 5-4 well at Lambert and the Mica well will be completed by the second and third quarters of this year and it intends pursuing additional deep gas opportunities in the Basin.
