Halliburton to optimise Woodside in Africa and at home

Halliburton’s Energy Services has been awarded a contract by Woodside Energy to provide production optimisation services consisting of completion products and services, sand control, and tubing conveyed perforating services and products for Australasia and Mauritania.

The company estimated the contract has an estimated value opportunity of USD $58 million.

“This is a big win for us,” said John Lau, Halliburton’s country manager for Australasia. “This is a long-term partnership between two companies and will be a foundation for Halliburton to service Woodside globally in the future. We are honoured with the confidence that Woodside has shown in our ability to deliver value and service quality.”

Currently celebrating its 85th anniversary, Halliburton is one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries. The company serves its customers with a broad range of products and services through its Energy Services and Engineering and Construction Groups.
