All nine wells are expected to be on production test by the middle of next month.

Workover operations have also been completed on Bohena-3, 7 and 9 and these wells have restarted production testing. ESG said while the Bohena wells were not part of a confined pilot, total gas production is in excess of 180 thousand cubic feet per day.

To certify gas reserves in the region, ESG plans to bring the Bohena wells onto continuous production in parallel with the Bibblewindi wells.

Independent certification of gas reserves, which is planned for 2007, will enable negotiation of gas supply contracts.

To date, the nine Bibblewindi wells have been successfully drilled, permeability tested with “excellent results” and fracture stimulated. ESG said the project was still running on time and under budget.
