Texas drives US reserves growth, deal flow

THE US shale boom continues to underpin The US' energy economy as the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford shale in Texas added around two billion barrels in proven reserves last year, around 60% of the nation's total increase of with an addition of 3.4Bbbl of proved oil reserves.
