RBC Capital Markets sees value in Adani’s closing final investment decision on the Carmichael thermal coal mine for the Comet Ridge and Vintage Energy joint venture in the Galilee Basin, Queensland, suggesting it could help to commercialise the gas project.
The mine site is 50 kilometres from the JV's acreage, which totals 9000sq.km giving it "plenty of running room".
