GOM oilers batten down for Tropical Storm Barry

OILERS across the Gulf of Mexico are shutting down and evacuating operations ahead of approaching Tropical Storm Barry, with BHP battening down the hatches at its projects in the Gulf’s Federal waters and juniors Byron Energy, Otto Energy and Metgasco, which share nearshore projects also closing up.
