CANADA-focussed Whitebark Energy has persevered with production at its Wizard Lake site, despite temperatures reaching 45-55 degrees below zero, but have done so at a reduced rate to ensure staff safety.

The company's three wells, Rex 1, 2 and 3, are producing through the extreme cold, averaging rates of approximately 750 barrels of oil per day combined.
