Shell brings Prelude FLNG back online

Shell said this morning that LNG cargoes have resumed from its Prelude FLNG facility. The A$24 billion vessel received approval to restart production three weeks ago, coming some three months after a fire had shutdown power and safety systems needed to ensure crew safety.

The fire broke out on Prelude in early December when a fire triggered an emergency shutdown that depressurized the vessel's processing plant by sending large quantities of gas to a flare tower to be burnt....
