Reporting to the Drilling Operations Manager, this role will supervise and co-ordinate formation evaluation programs to ensure the effective running of drilling operations. Responsibilities include: the production of well reports, provision of geological support, mud logging, wireline, LWD, testing and coring.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is highly operationally focused with the ability to adapt to a continuous multi-rig drilling programme. The successful application will have tertiary qualifications in Geology, a clear understanding of formation evaluation techniques, together with a basic knowledge of reservoir engineering.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are also essential attributes for this position. Previous experience of multiple Australasian sedimentary basins would be advantageous.
