Unearth your true potential

Long time pioneers of innovative exploration and production techniques such as our unconventional shale gas program, Beach Energy was built on the character of the trailblazers who created it.

A top 100 ASX company that ranks among the top six listed oil and gas companies in Australia, our sensitive approach to the environment, our commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate, and our sponsorship of local community organisations, all point to a thriving company where people come first.

The primary function of these roles is to optimise and coordinate production (surface) and petroleum (downhole) operations. These positions have responsibility to monitor oil fields in order to optimise daily production, identify production enhancement opportunities and develop completion, workover and testing programmes. Exposure to Beach’s operational sites through regular field visits is another exciting element of these roles.

We are seeking Petroleum Engineers with experience working in the oil and gas industry, ideally with an operating company. Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications coupled with a mechanical aptitude are essential requirements for the role.

The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships and thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment. An important attribute is the desire to share knowledge through effective mentoring of junior Petroleum Engineers.
