WESTERN Australia wants to capitalise on trillions of dollars of emerging demand in the battery space, and it is moving on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to mix the state’s vast mineral wealth with the high-technology end of the market by establishing a “Lithium Valley” hub to rival the US’s Silicon Valley.
