Wind company on the up despite 10GW loss from AEMO constraint

"Production across the Australian portfolio was significantly higher compared to the prior corresponding period due to wind conditions reverting close to long term

expectations and the generation from the commissioning of Salt Creek wind farm," Tilt said today.

Salt Creek added a total of 6.9 gigawatt hours in June.

Tilt also said the June quarter production in  Australia was somewhat reduced by constraints placed on all South Australian non-synchronous power generation by the Australian Energy Market Operator.

This included Tilt's Snowtown I and II wind farms and resulted in around 10GWh of lost production.
