Slugcatcher on a government tax truce (more oil beats more tax revenue)

BIG oil makes a big tax target. That’s one way of looking at the super profits reported last week by the world’s biggest oil companies, though Slugcatcher believes that governments will not hit oil with bigger taxes because they need the oil more than the revenue.
