THE UNIVERSITY of Queensland has finally delivered the results of a three-year scoping study into industrial-sized carbon capture and storage (CCS) potential in regional areas of the state.
The University of Queensland led a major research and scoping study into the potential for carbon capture and storage to help reduce emissions.
The study, comprised no less than 50 publicly available reports, revealed that CCS offered material industrial-scale carbon abatement potential in Queensland.
