YESTERDAY Energy News reported Chinese researchers had found that 5.4% of their nation's total electricity emissions came from bitcoin mining, taking in both fossil fuel and clean energy power sources, but Wood Mackenzie believes that in the US the same practice could provide some system stability and power offtake.
