SDLG loaders aid in efficient cement construction from oil waste

AN oil field at Riau on the Indonesian island of Sumatra is employing wheel loaders supplied by Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery (SDLG) to help transport petroleum-contaminated mud and soil for recycling into cement.

The oil field produces nearly 200,000 barrels of crude per day, with large amounts of mud and contaminated soil as a by-product of these operations.

Five SDLG wheel loaders work to load these materials onto trucks which then transport them to cement plants in other parts of Indonesia.

As well as cutting down on waste of materials, the loaders themselves - comprising three LG968L  and two L956F units - are said to provide substantial fuel efficiency cost-cutting benefits.

The director of the PT Sumigita Jaya, which is leasing the machines to the oil company, said that his operation keeps a record of how much it refuels the wheel loaders daily.
