LNG players smashed

MAJORS seeking to position themselves as LNG titans have been smashed by low oil prices, with Shell delaying its LNG Canada project after posting its lowest income in 13 years, while Europe's main LNG plant owner, Statoil, has cut oil break-even for projects to under $US50 as it posted a loss.
